A useful tool for achieving energy efficiency

The Cut Carbon, Cut Costs interactive online training tool has just been launched on the Carbon Trust website and is aimed at small businesses looking to improve their energy efficiency. The tool, featuring short videos and an interactive calculator, gives an introduction to key energy efficiency topics and enables users to build an action plan giving estimated cost and carbon savings based on their energy usage. The training is modular, making it a flexible solution for time-poor businesses, and covers six topics: electricity out-of-hours, energy management, heating, lighting, office and IT equipment, and compressed air.
