Design and Innovation for Business Sustainability:

Making Change Happen.... 

Through the Design and  Innovation for Business Sustainability Programme (DIBS) and in partnership with The University of Surrey , small businesses in the south east have the opportunity to link up with university students wanting short term project experience. All the students involved are undertaking an MSc in Sustainable Development and  will be working alongside their tutor on the project

For your company this is the chance to work with an enthusiastic individual on a project you’ve not had the time to undertake and for them to bring fresh 

• Carbon Footprinting
• EMS
• Green Marketing
• Green Accreditation

The student will provide their  time  and expertise free of charge, although the company would be expected to cover their travel and ancillary expenses. The company would be expected to:

• provide the student with a genuine and interesting sustainability based project
• the project would need to last at least 30 days onsite
• to treat the student as a member of the team
• to support them during the project as part of their career development
• the project will be undertaken in early 2012
