PLATO: Sustain

PLATO: Sustain is a two-year business and personal development programme targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based on the PLATOTM principle of peer-group learning. PLATO: Sustain is aimed at helping companies improve their business sustainability, encouraging them to feed this improvement through their supply chains and employees and adopt environmental friendly behaviour.

Increasingly, people are deciding whether or not they use a company based on how eco-friendly they are. It is becoming more important for businesses to make environmentalism a part of their brand. If you like the idea of being green but not sure how to go about it then the PLATO: Sustain programme is for you.

Plato GB Limited has secured funding from the European Regional Development Fund and the South East England Development Agency to deliver this programme to 160 SMEs throughout the South East region and it is free to join (worth £3,500.00 to each participant). The key criteria for any company wishing to join are that they employ at least 10 personnel, their turnover is a minimum of £1m and they have been trading for at least 3 years.
